Class Descriptions

CROSSFIT

Greg Glassman, a former gymnast, founded CrossFit®, Inc. in 2000. He coined CrossFit as “constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement.”  We safely train a multitude of different movements that mimic functional movements at different loads, intensities, and frequencies to translate to higher quality and safer movement outside of the gym. We utilize barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, rigs, our bodyweight, jump ropes, etc. to create an infinite amount of workout combinations to ensure our bodies are running at an optimal level outside of the gym. It is fun, we promise. We offer traditional CrossFit classes 5x a week.

OLYMPIC LIFTING/ POWERLIFTING

A class for those people who want to move some weight and for those who want to learn how to move weight better. Learn and practice the foundations and techniques of different Olympic lifts and power lifts within an 8 block period. Let’s bring on those PR’s! 2 classes a week.

LEGENDS

Our Legends class is meant for those who want to get a great workout in with minimal barbell work and a slower pace than traditional CrossFit classes. More focus on correct form, posture, and functional movements to translate to better movement outside the gym in everyday life. 2 classes a week.

CHOOSE YOU! HIIT CLASS

This class is designed to light up your metabolism and challenge your aerobic capacity. Each course will run on an 8 week block. 2 classes a week.

BAM-BIG BARBELL

A class for those experienced barbell lifters and beginners alike! Each Saturday will involve a different type of lift, combination of lifts, complexes, etc. A great class to test your strength in a relaxed atmosphere.

THE BIG GIVE COMMUNITY CLASS

Open to the community, no barbells or gymnastic movements found here. Come prepared to get a great workout in using mostly bodyweight movements. Open to all experience levels and anyone is invited to attend; no membership to BAM CrossFit required.  This class costs $5 to attend and all proceeds will be donated to a current local charity of choice. Occurs on Saturday mornings at 9 AM.

BAM-TASTIC COMMUNITY BOOTCAMP

Open to the community, no barbells or gymnastic movements found here. Come prepared to get a great workout in using mostly bodyweight movements. Open to all experience levels, free to everyone to attend. Occurs on Sunday mornings at 8 AM.

OPEN GYM

Time to come work on any strengths or weaknesses, no coach-led workout.

FOUNDATIONS 101

Required for those new to CrossFit, is a 4 session program designed to introduce and practice all foundational movements to prepare you for a CrossFit class. All 4 classes must be completed prior to attending a CrossFit class. Please email to set up a time to attend.

PERSONAL TRAINING

Have 1-on-1 sessions with a coach of your choice to reach your personal goals. Please email to set up.

CROSSFIT KIDS

To be added soon! A class meant to teach the basics and foundational movements at a young age in a fun and structured environment.
